Joseph J. Hart, D.M.D.

Joe Hart came to this area and started his private practice in 1973, partnering with Dr. Harold Wilson in 1976. Dr. Hart was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in biology, he graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. This was followed by two years of stateside practice in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He and his wife, Susan, raised two children in the town of Bethlehem and have lived there since their 1973 arrival.

Dr. Hart has geared his continuing education toward advanced training for patients requiring complex reconstructive/restorative dentistry. He accomplished this primarily by completing the entire curriculum of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. At the same time, he has kept abreast of the latest developments in all phases of dentistry for patients of all ages through continuous course work, averaging over 60 hours per year and earning him a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
